I've decided I'm going to go there. Not some "...ooh I'd love to go to Japan." moment. No I've decided for my holiday next year I'm going to spend 10 days in Tokyo. I'm going to set a budget of £2000, will that get me far?

I've priced flights at £569 RTN at the mo' but they don't go as far in advance as April. Would £80 a day get me far in terms of hotelage?

Has anyone every been? Or have any advice, I'm very excited about this, as I've never done anything like this before.
