does anyone have any experience of Asperger's? A friend of mine has been very depressed for a couple of years. He's started going to a psychiatrist, and the psychiatrist has suggested he may have Aspergers, and wants to start him on lots more medication.

However, my friend really didn't think this diagnosis sounded like him, so the psychiatrist told him to ask his friends if it sounds right to us. Which is a scary responsibility!

From what I vaguely knew already, it doesn't sound right to me. Since he's been depressed he never talks to anyone or goes out, and plays computer games all day and night, but he never used to be like that - he was very friendly, and enjoyed going out, although he's always liked lazing in the house, playing computer games and smoking weed.

Are there other signs I should think about?
