I need to leave my job a week on Saturday. (I'm going to London for two weeks, then Canada for a further fortnight, then moving to Dundee.)

I'm supposed to give them a months notice, which I obviously won't be able to do.

What do I do?

The options I've come up with thus far...

- Hand in my letter of resignation now and just phone in sick for the last three weeks I'm supposed to be working.

- Just tell them I have to leave immediatly and lose out on all the pay for the shifts I've done this month and rule out getting a referance from the place I've worked at for the past year and a half.

Anyone think of anything else?

Aaargh.
