No no, this isn't another one of those 'best looking threads. I am partly responsible for the upkeep of the GreatRun website (the people who organise the Great North Run) and i am being forced to take part in it this year... eek! :-(

Anyway, my question is. How many DiSers have run Marathons, half Marathons or other such events? And if you have, was it a regular thing for you, or a one off?

I am crapping myself... any getting fit tips wouldn't go amiss!
