Turns out I've missed the deadline to apply to study in Melbourne for a semester next year by a good month. My department is rubbish - they've sent a grand total of ONE e-mail this entire year so far about applying for exchanges, and it turns out the deadline they put in there (for next week) only applies to European places, not anywhere outside the EU. I know I should probably have found this out earlier but they didn't help by confusing things. Fuck. I was really looking forward to that as well.
