i should keep my beard because:
*it makes me quite recognisable

*people compliment it a lot. my dad likes it, and my dad hates me, so that's pretty impressive

*its sort of impressive, in some pathetic way

*it'd take a few months to get it back to this size if i wanted to

*i dont like shaving, and not having to shave is a big plus

i should get rid of my beard because:
*i basically started growing it when i started seeing my last girlfriend, and she encouraged me to grow it. now that she done dumped my ass, getting rid of it would give some nice closure.

*relatedly, now that i'm single, i think more girls would be interested in me without it than with it. i doubt there are any women who would never get with a guy because he DIDN'T have a beard... and a very lovely girl says i looked way better without it.

*curiosity. and i could try having just a moustache for a while, which would amuse me quite a lot

*its nice to have a change from time to time

*i think a lot of job interviewers might be beard prejudiced.

*sometimes it does look really untidy, and being clean-shaven would make it a lot easier to get tidy for tidy things

things relating to my beard that i can't work out to be positive or negative:
*when i meet people, a lot of the time they think talking about it would be interesting. some people ask to touch it and stuff.
