Eventually we're all going to be old and incontinent and living a life of miserableness and stuff.

So if 'they' came along and offered you the option of, when you're too old to do anything worthwhile, going into outer space in a one-man space ship to try and find aliens, would you take it?

You just control yourself and zoom around looking for planets or other spaceships.

You could end up either having a huge trippy magic end like 2001, or maybe get found by aliens that think you're God etc.

Or would you rather sit in a home waiting to die?

PS: No 'I'd rather just sky dive without a parachute' answers or anything. I just want to know if you'd rather be the astronaught or nay.
