I watched this on the plane and honestly don't know why it got such bad reviews. Eric Bana's really great in it, the filming is stylised but in a good way and, while it's a bit slow, it's really no worse than either Spider-Man or Batman Begins. In fact I'd have said it was pacier than the latter.

The CGI was a touch dodgy but really I think Riami's fanboys and the love Spider-Man has over the Hulk had more to do with that film being successful. They should have let Ang Lee do a sequel. Apparently they've changed everything for the new movie and we get Edward Norton as Bruce.
