It may just be a London thing but since I've been here I've noticed that the foot soldiers always leave at 5 (i.e admin types of which i've done my time and have done just that)and the important (or self important) always seem to be there way after 6 and always like to send emails at 6.41 just to show they work late. As a 'middle manager' leve person I find it really annoying that if I leave at 5 I'll be looked upon as not being committed, but really does it matter when you leave and start????
