I hate this normally and try to avoid it at all costs, but tonight I'm going to a very small gig on my tod because:
a) it's free
b) it's about five minutes' walk away from where i live
c) i vaguely promised someone who's playing who i don't really know that i'd go

so, when you're at a gig on your own, what d'you normally do to while away the time between bands? other than drinking?
