I watched this for the first time last night. They banned it on video for years and by chance channel surfing on Sky it was just about to start.

Its a work of absolute genius, it's a horror story but with added psychological tension and drama.The special effects are superb for the time (1973). A must see.

Side note - I downloaded Tubular Bells (where the Exorcist theme comes from) earlier. it's a nice piece of music if a little too long.
