following on from the 'london' thread, which i think i killed, i have 9 days off work (actually it's now 7.5) this week and next. am not going anywhere - just needed the time off because i hate my job so much. but am seeming to spend lots of time on here, which is what i normally do AT WORK!

so can you inspire me to get off my arse and actually do something worthwhile? it needs to be cheap (actually free would be ideal) and stimulate my flaccid brain to some degree. i have bus pass and will willingly travel a reasonable distance from e. london. if you're at work now and you could not be at work - what would you do? i stare out of the window all day and think about all the things i could be doing that would be more worthwhile than my pointless job - now i can't remember any of them!
