The opening night of a new club night in Leeds, Godzilla!, is on 26th March. We're aiming to play a wide selection of rocking music, without pigeon-holing the night into a certain category.
The official line on music is "sludge rock, metal, indie and punk", but we'll be playing everything from stiff little fingers through smashing pumpkins to bouncing souls and mastodon.
Entry is merely £1 and this includes the fine sounds of Leeds' premier (and only?) Weezer tribute band to celebrate both the opening and Jim the DJ's birthday.
Doors are at 9:30 and the venue is the cellar of The George pub, on Infirmary Street (as if you were going from Leeds General Infirmary to the Joseph's Well) and after visiting it the other day, it's only around 100 capacity so arrive early.

So that's March 26th, 9:30pm til late, The George Cellar, only £1 entrance. Should be a good night.
