Can anyone tell me why they stock lamb from New Zealand in UK supermarkets? If we have lamb in this country, why do they fly a remarkably similar product 12000 miles so we can buy it here? Considering that air travel is a major contributor to worldwide carbon dioxide emissions, this seems like pure insanity. Any thoughts?
