I seem to remember a similar thread to this not so long back. Is it socially acceptable to shorten "I would have......", as in "I would have swerved to avoid him if he hadn't filled my shower head with Oxo granules" into "I'da......", as in "I'da love to have gone and seen The Bravery, however I have a low tolerance level for shit music".
