I was considering this in the pub the other day.

Now that Guinness is shipped from Ireland presumably it has a much higher carbon footprint so it's actually a less ecologically friendly beer.

I wonder if there are some drinks that are better than others in terms of the environmental impact of getting them to your mouth.

Should all of us 'green' types be drinking Carling, FFS?
