General media music people

And I don't necessarily mean those who work for music mags and stuff. I mean the people from tabloids and stuff who write every day about the 'hottest band in the world right now.'

I hate hate hate hate hate them.

I'm sitting next to some of them now, and they're all sorting out their free Glastonbury tickets. They're the same sort of people who go to V and Reading and I see them swanning around in the backstage area.

They were all just discussing how good The Twang were. One of them put on this new CD he'd received and they were all discussing it

"who's this?"
(studies it for a while) "..umm Bright Eyes?"

None of them had a clue.
It makes me sick that they all get free tickets to go to these events, get treated like royalty with free food and drinks while they're there, don't watch any music, talk shit about bands like The Twang and Mika being, like, TOTALLY hot right now, and then report back with an article about how they saw Dean Gaffney backstage snogging a page three girl.

End of rant. I nearly started a second moan there about why the fuck Dean Gaffney and his mates get in free as well......
