when I was little we used to visit one of my parents' friends who I called 'the moneytree man'. He had a moneytree in his back garden. We would shake the tree and coins would shower down from the branches. Every Christmas he would send us a jiffy bag full of this years windfall/harvest.

I later found out that he stood behind us and threw the coins whilst we shook the tree. It was crushing to find out that there was no moneytree, but he'll always be the moneytree man.
