my girlfriend wants to know if there is any sort of good hardware for connecting to a laptop (she has a vaio) that she can use to record music tracks onto (vocals, guitar, piano etc). she's got a sony vaio if thats any help.

if its not any help, and she really needs a mac, any links to good hardware for that? (colin?)
