Yes it ties in with a previous post "People who say'I always say what I think'".

There's a point where this gets finger-chewingly embarrassing, and to be honest I thought it was relegated to self-help book addicts and MTV dating show contestants. However I just over-heard someone outside the fishmongers uttering "Well I'm a loud character - He should deal with it!"

I just can't imagine saying to someone "I'm outgoing" or "I'm pretty introverted"...It always seems to be meant like a pseudo-pragmatic "look at little liberated me" thing but It's just quite dickheaded and vulgar.

This ties in with whispering in adverts and over-simple rhyming lyrics (Linkin Park's rippy rappy nursery-rhyme rapper etc)...making something out to be more important / profound than it is.
