First film ever was BAMBI - hated every second of it and only made it past first five minutes as hunter shot Bambi's father and I CRIED and had to leave cinema (was 3 at time - still remember - was very distressed).

I didn't CHOOSE to see that film, tho - stupid sisters took me thinking I'd enjoy it. Little did they know. I also remember on that outing seeing Hari Krishnas for the first time but that is another story.

However, first film that I really CHOSE to go and see was a double feature, aged FIVE with my dad and that was:

Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back - A DOUBLE MATINEE BILL!

I had seen the former heaps of times but remember being blown away by The Empire Striks Back which is my fav in that trilogy (sigh) and the entire catalogue.
