I'm starting a label, primarily to release some of my tracks, but I don't want it to be solely a vanity thing.

Been checking out the prices, and I've found that doing 200 sevens isn't that much of an outlay, but I've heard that distributors don't deal with less than 500.

Anyone got any wisdom to impart re: this issue?
