Metro Journalists...whoops...
Today's Metro contains a section about urban myths, including 16 myths for you to guess if they're real or not.
One of them is "At the moment the Titanic hit an iceberg in the north Atlantic, the silent version of the film The Poseidon Adventure was being screened aboard ship."
Oddly they claimed this was true, which seemed 'unlikely' to say the least. However, Snopes have this page:

Except it's made up to prove that you shouldn't believe everything you read on their site, or something. Check the link under the link to the film's supposed IMDB page:
