Right, my Mam has ordered a Wii for my brother from HMV (this was the only place that said they could guarantee her a system on release date), she did this last month, she has paid the full price for the system.

She has just received a phone call saying that HMV will now not sell her only the system and that she has to cough up an extra £70 to get a deal which includes two games two controllers and a memory card.

It is a great deal, no one is disputing this, but the fact is, they have told her that if she doesn't come up with the money by tomorrow or next tuesday then she won't be guaranteed a console, even though they told her when she bought it she would be.

She can't afford the £70 right now because hse doesn't actually get paid until the 19th.

Can HMV actually do this? Is it not false advertising of sorts?
