I read this book yesterday.
It's basically about a guy who is wrongly accused of rape, gets locked up for 8 months, then moves to Salem Falls to start afresh. He's a nice character and all, but whaddoyaknow, the same thing happens again.
I liked the book, overall, i think. It was worth the day i took off college. But the way it represented rape and whatnot, it irritated me a slight. Infact, it pissed me off.
And it made me think: Why, in anything fictional, are rape victims always scared of sex/men and unable to form a "normal" relationship? Surely it's not the same in real life?
