because i've been to see lots of films this week.

hollywoodland - ben affleck can act!! and it's good!! OMG!!
babel - alejandro gonzález iñárritu is a genius but this is a little overwrought and probably a bit too long.
flag of our fathers - war film with clint eastwood behind the camera. the violence seemed gratuitous at times. yawn.
running with scissors - great attention to period detail, like an even more nutso version of royal tenenbaums. i liked.
