My brother (18 years of age) has aqcuired his first "proper" girlfriend. My gran has given him £200 to take her out on a date.

What were your families like when you had your first serious partner?

Mine have NEVER given me anything so i can treat my "significant others", nor even pay for myself. I feel like robbing my brother. :(
