just watched this for the first time.

wow

what a classically BRILLIANT film. i'd always kind of heard about it, but never been that bothered before.

great stuff. dustin hoffman and robert redford are both excellent, and the storytelling is gripping, edge-of-seat stuff.

i don't think i've ever seen dustin hoffman being anything but brilliant (with the possible exception of meet the fockers, but he was still one of the best things in that...)
