my parents are going away to carlisle on a package tour and didn't book me a ticket because i said i was spending christmas with my girlfriend at her aunt's this year (because last year's christmas, when my parents went away to kilmarnock on a package tour, was teethgrindingly depressing).

however my girlfriend's aunt has told her there will already be three young couples at hers for christmas and there isn't room for a fourth.
