Just learned today 2 news that disturbed me a little...
SAW III : since the early 90s , only movies with explicit sexe scenes could get an over 18 classification. The law was changed again in 2001 so that things like sadistic violence could get this classification too. But no movies were concerned. Till now with Saw III. I'm not saying it doesn't deserve it, but why this movie and why now, when Saw, Saw II or Hostel were rated above 16... And the decision was finally approved by the Secretary of culture.
PRISON BREAK : the first season was broadcasted at 20:50, but the high authority of french TV just decided that second season won't be broadcasted before 22:30 ( like any shows for over 12 ).

I don't want to debate if this decisions are right or wrong ( I've not even watched Prison Break ) but I just find funny that :
1. Kids between 10 and 12 are actually supposed to watchTV between 20:50 and 22:30.
2. This decisions came at 6 months from our presidential election where the 2 main candidates are constantly fighting around moral grounds.

3. The Jigsaw Killer from Saw actually thinks he's right by testing people he judged unworthy. Ironic ?
