Ok I'm doing an essay on crappy microsoft works. I'm on a computer that officially has no viruses and is running absolutely fine. I'd been saving regularly but had just written 500ish words without saving, when for no reason, it decides it has to close because it has "encountered a problem". What the fuck?! Why would it do that?

Do any clever people know how I'd possibly go about retreiving the 500 words I've just lost?
