Father xmas is due to bring me a drum kit this december.

I was looking for advice from the drummers here on what kinda budget and kit i should be looking for.

Indeed should i bother getting a full acoustic kit before i start learning?

I mooted the idea of an electronic kit to my friends - they looked disgusted and walked off, well, not really. Are cheap electronic kits any good, worth getting?
