I expect to be slapped down for this, but I watched this film the whole way through for the first time on Monday, and to be frightfully honest I found it to be boring.

Do people only like it now because it was good when they were 12 years old?

Shirley when you watch it now you can see that it's rubbish. It's not like it's the Goonies is it, which genuinely is a classic from the 80s and is still brilliant today.
