Lunch with Prole: The great indifference
If youre like me, childish, truculent yet deeply passionate about the most bizarre things, you'll empathise with me about how you can love AND hate things unconditionally and still feel that you've given Cosmo Landesman or Tom Paulin a 'run' for their money in terms of critical faculty (?)
Anyway we all love and hate things but really are there more things we are 'indifferent' to? I'm indiferent to the following and much more I'm too busy keeping an eye over my shoulder at work for narks to write down;
Modern cars
most modern films
black jeans
YouTube
PeepShow
Britney Spears
The Independent
erm....turkey?
Anyway you know what I mean (don't you? oh please tell me I'm sane just this once?) My point is this: for all we love and hate is there a bland middle gound of things that we're meant to LOVE! or HATE! but really, they're just so like non-awesome, KWIM? (know what I mean - clever, eh?)
