I was just reading something on a different thread about me, proclaiming that I'm arrogant.

On some levels, I can totally see where this came from, however I honestly don't see a mild amount of arrogance as a bad thing.

Arrogance can often be confused with confidence and particularly in the atmosphere is this forum, I am always confident in my convictions and always humble when I am wrong (and have deleted threads and apologised accordingly).

I really don't see that I (or many other people who are accused of such a trait in these parts) are arrogant and as an aside, surely by accusing someone of arrogance, you're instantly elevating yourself above them and displaying similar tendencies yourself?

Oh, whatever, all I'm saying is that I'm not a bad person, I want to be everybody's friend and whilst I have a tendency to rant and assert my opinions, it's only because I'm passionate about the things I go on about and want to spark debate and conversation.
