Now I'm way too young to feel that I'm not 'a man' in the grown up sense but I'm increasingly alarmed at my disdain for how 'some teenagers speak' (that DOES make me sound 54) - i.e EXACTLY like I did when I 'were a lad' etc - accenctuating words like OHMYGOD that's SUCH a cool thing to do I'm going to get SO LEGGLESS it will be UNREAL - this was some 16 year old Tobys talking on the train today and I just thought 'They sound stupid' but then thought about how annoying I would have sounded to people 'my age' when I was 'that age' - oh dear am I getting old?
