Emmy The Great and friends
That was good entertainment. Morvern Callar was my favourite of the evening, 'Cut Your Nails' was particularly fine. (One day DiS will spell her name correctly: Two different incorrect spellings in the last week.) Emmy's peformance was even better than the last time I saw her. Everyone else was worth hearing - Noah And The Whale make good music despite having the worst haircuts I've seen for a while. I think Annie Frank Sinatra needs to listen to some Throbbing Gristle to hear music, or noise, that will really annoy some people. I had to leave halfway through The Mules - I did hear the Talking Heads cover which was quite a good version. All gigs should be one act straight on after another, much better than those half hour gaps. Even though the gig started fifteen minutes late, everyone caught up so much that Emmy's set started ten minutes earlier than billed.
No-one, apart from Emmy, was present from DiS. If they were, I didn't see them.
Thanks for a nice evening.
