should i stay or should i go...
For the past 5 months since moving to London i've been living with my sister and her husband in their newly acquired house which has been great aside from the fact we didn't have a kitchen for 2 months, my room fits only a materess on the floor and a suitcase of clothes so there isn't much room for stuff, of which i have far too much of but this is currently sitting in cupboards in Edinburgh.
I've got a room lined up in chalk farm but I'm not sure whether to take it or not, the people are lovely but i'm not sure about the flat (bigish room tho no lounge and perhaps dodgyish area) especially having been to some really nice houses in kentish town which were cheaper than the £100 a week + council tax + the rest i'd be paying here which is at the upper ends of what i want to be paying, BUT i would finally have my own space and could finally move my stuff down here and would not have stupid long bus rides home after gigs in the north.
So...
take the room, move my shit to london and think about moving again in the near future
or...
keep looking until i find somewhere i really want to live, bearing in mind the fact that i really need to get my stuff moved from edinburgh asap.
Maybe i'm just a bit too used to the nice flats and standard of living of Edinburgh that i need to lower my expectations somewhat and just go for it?
