Have just seen that Britain has decided to bury its nuclear waste. Councils will be invited to bid to have the waste buried in their area in return for money for important things like new cars and computers and holidays for councillors and contracts for their brother in laws dodgy building/security firms

Am I just being cynical in thinking that the councils bidding and those not bidding will be predictable by their postcodes/affluence ?
