in the world, there is bad stuff happening. the environment is fucked. the politicians are all corrupt and ugly. society is collapsing under the weight of little hoodlums running around setting fire to their own shit.
but that's important stuff. i would like your help with some dj-ing stuff.
tommorrow night, i'm djing at the maps oxjam thing at the good ship (link! http://www.drownedinsound.com/articles/1239192). i've dj'ed before (at a Provincial Indie Disco no less!), but this is the first time in london, and i'm quite scared.
what should i do? what should i play? continue the musical theme of the bands or just play songs i like and run the risk of RIGHTEOUS SCORN? or should i just not worry about trivial nonsense like this? does anyone with any experience have any advice?
