so i'm writing this on my brother's girlfriend's laptop, which has a broken s key so if any are missing, that's why.

it won't turn on any more, but i can hear the fan going round and the dvd drive sometimes makes a bit of noise. other than that, nothing.

anyone know what could be wrong?
