LwP: does going to millions of gigs make you a massive music fan?

prole-art-threat [Edit] [Delete] 15:08, 16 October '06

Ok its back for one day only (until next time I'm bored)

Roughy below is key points in 15 years of heavy gig going

Me at 17 - gigs! gigs! gigs! (robably did about 25, so once a fortnight)

Me in my early 20s - gigs! free gigs! Guest list gigs! probably did about 45 one year, sometimes two in a night if I had enough free tickets)

Me now - gigs - my judgement of going to see ANYONE is now rather sharpened to a point that they have to be good for me to leave the house.

So as you get older you might go to less gigs, or more, if youre a later starter, but really what I'm trying to say in a 'Look how many gigs I've been to' way is does the volume of gigs you go to mean youre 'really into music'? or does it not matter in the slightest? I've hardly been to any this year but does that make me 'not into music'?
