You know when you say something or agree with someone just to take the piss, but they're the kind of person who is so sweet-natured and bubbly that they take everything anyone says at face value and have no concept of either subtext or sarcasm?

Yeah, so anyway, I spent most of Saturday night pretending I liked Steps, S Club 7 and Abba. This didn't just end with me saying "Oh, yeah there ain't no party like an S Club party", it progressed into discussions about who who the best one out of S Club, renditions of classics like Tragedy and Waterloo and demonstrations of various dance routines.

All went quite well until I ruined it at the very end of the night by getting down to some Slayer.

The moral of the story is - Be true to yourself.
