watched it last night...i missed the cowhook bit (i changed channel when my mum came in the room) so it didnt seem so bad...or is that only in the inevitably more graphic remake?

also they could have maintained the realism factor by not including a dummy called "grandpa" that comes alive when u feed it human blood...
