it's really starting to piss me off. I don't know what more I can do to politely let her know that I don't want to listen to her rubbish, I'm trying to work/be a nuisance on DiS and I can't concentrate on that with warbling on about how much holiday she's got left and what the time difference is between here and LA.

Any suggestions on how I can drop the hint that I'm not listening?
