(I'm using iPod as a generic term for mp3 players, OKAY?)

I mean, yeah, they can hold fuck loads of files. And I do think it's pretty amazing how I can carry around most of my music in my pocket

But essentially, they're just a handheld media player. There's no user interactivity at all. I'm sure Mr Jobs and his Merry Men don't need me to tell them this, but imagine how much more money that would make if you could download a song FROM your iPod. Like, access the iTunes Store when you're on the move

I mean, they keep making bigger, shinier ones, but surely sometime they will make some leap forward in terms of technology? It all seems a bit static. But then, I am a bit of a technophobe, so I expect to be shot down here
