ok, bit of a long story but, basically my mum is head techer at a junior school. went on a school trip and one of the kids fell over and (minutely) fractured his ankle. was taken to hospital etc then parents came took him home. he was basically fine.

3 days later my mum gets a letter from said kids parents saying she's sueing my mum for neglegence etc, even tho she's done absoultely ZERO wrong. the letter is made even more stupid by saying at the end, "inspite of this we would like to add that education our son has received in his time at the school has been of an execptionally high standard."

WUT?! why bother then? is it just to get the money? it actually gave my mum a panic attack. if it goes to court these people are gonna lose so badly its funny, i hope they do.
