Club NME last night.
I went to go see The Pipettes at Koko and straight after followed club NME.
Now, being a lazy bastard not having a great deal of money, I decided to say.
The whole concept of club NME was summarised in one moment.
Bloke comes up to me...
Bloke: Excuse me mate. I don't know if I should asking this kind of question in a place like this...
Me: Ok...what?
Bloke: Are you GAY?
Me: Errrr. No.
Bloke: Thank FUCK for that! It's just you see so many bloke in here dressed like fucking birds.
Me: haha errr...i'm gonna go get a drink.
*ran*
What a cock.
Very strange - they defo seem to be embracing the 'new-rave' as their new flavour as they played less indie hits and more obscure dance music. There was some strange mixes of current indie tracks mashed up with old school 90's dance anthems. Which i quite enjoyed actually. the Neon Plastics played (sic), they were gash.
But the people there would never listen to the music played if the NME didn't tell them to do methinks.
