i had an argument this weekend with my cousin about how just because something is expensive, doesn't necessarily mean that it's better.
her reasons - (re: restaurants) luxury, good service, better food.

i had to reply with 'not necessarily. the only meal that has ever made me gag was in an expensive/trendy restaurant in london'

she then went on to quiz my other cousin about why she didn't let her boyfriend (who is quite well off) pay for everything for her.

granted, this girl is 15. but it scares me to think of the woman she may grow up to be.
