"She's my priestess/I'm her priest"

Question that was bugging me this morning when I heard the above line from Red Hot Chili Peppers 'classic' Dani California.

Is that line theologically sound? Does such a religion or philosophy exist where someone can be your priestess and you can be her priest or is it meaningless bollocks?
